Chris joined World Learning as CFO in March, 2009 from State Street Corporation, an S&P/Fortune 500 company and one of the world's leading providers of financial services to institutional investors. He has over 20 years experience as a senior executive responsible for building and running multi-national finance and operations functions in both high growth and turn around situations. His tenure at State Street includes serving as global head of investment performance operations for State Street Global Advisors, the investment management division of State Street, and as a general manager in the Private Equity Fund Services business. Prior to this, he held senior level positions in corporate strategy development and corporate finance. Chris began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick where he managed consulting and audit engagements for clients in the financial services, retail, and high-tech industries.
Chris received his MBA from Boston University, his BA from University of Vermont, and is a Certified Public Accountant. At World Learning, Chris is responsible for overseeing finance and accounting operations, cash management, foreign exchange, and banking and investment portfolio activities. He resides in Concord, Massachusetts, with his wife and two children.
